F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone is still working on trying to get a United States Grand Prix back on the F1 calendar for the first time since 2007, possibly as early as the 2012 season.
“I’m trying to get F1 to the US in 2012, opposite Manhattan in New Jersey with skyscrapers in the background," Ecclestone was as saying by Gazzetta dello Sport. "The track would be just fifteen minutes from the city centre of New York. It would be something great.”
