2009 F1 champion Jenson Button celebrates his 30th birthday today!

Born in Frome in 1980, Jenson (so named after the Jensen motor car company) achieved success in karts at the end of the 1980s, before progressing through the ranks and making his F1 debut for Williams in 2000, having just turn 20.

Quite incredible to realise he has been in F1 for 10 seasons already!

Also celebrating his 34th birthday is Tarso Marques, the Brazilian of 24 Grands Prix starts – all with Minardi in 1996-7 and 2001.

Richard’s F1 would like to wish both men a happy birthday today!
