Alain Prost Four-time World Champion Alain Prost will be the drivers’ representative at the steward’ panel during this weekend’s Bahrain GP.

As part of the FIA’s move to ensure better transparency and consistency in the way in which its stewards make decisions during the Grand Prix weekend, a former F1 driver will part part of that committee at each race weekend.

Prost competed in almost 200 Grands Prix between 1980 and 1993, winning world titles in 1985, 1986, 1989 and 1993. He later went on to (unsuccessfully) run his own F1 team borne from a buyout of the Ligier team, but it collapsed at the end of the 2001 season.
