Several past F1 champions (or their descendants) were present at the Sakhir circuit today to commemorate 60 years of Formula 1 in the modern era.

The celebration saw many of these former World Champions reunited with their famous cars that took them to the giddy heights of success, and they completed a series of demonstration laps around Sakhir in their cars.

The likes of Emerson Fittipaldi, Jackie Stewart, Jody Scheckter, Damon Hill, Keke Rosberg and John Surtees each had stints behind the wheel of their own championship-winning cars.

While most are certainly a lot greyer – if not quite a bit bulkier! – it certainly looks like they had a great time catching up with their fellow competitors and chariots!
