Occasional F1 driver Geoff Lees is celebrating his 59th birthday today!

The winner of the European Formula 2 championship, Less made occasional appearances in Formula 1, with a 7th place at the 1979 German GP with Tyrrell (pictured) being his best overall result.

Lees’ last F1 appearance was at the 1982 French Grand Prix with Lotus, before he moved to Japan and started a successful sports car career with Toyota.
