While Bruno Senna’s position within the Hispania Racing team has certainly been the subject of much intrigue this weekend, it seems that the heat may now be off his team- mate Karun Chandhok.
The announcement of a new sponsorship deal with Jaypee Sports – the organisation building the New Dehli Grand Prix circuit – might be enough to see the Chennai-born driver stay on for a little bit longer.
Certainly Karun is looking to the future, when he said: “To be the Indian driver on the grid for the first Indian Grand Prix next year will be very special for me.”
