While perhaps not as exciting as the previous round in China, it was still a pretty interesting Turkish Grand Prix nonetheless.
A mixture of weather conditions and performance up and down the field in practice made predicting the outcome of qualifying and the race difficult, and our tipsters in the Richard’s F1 Tipping Competition were faced with a tough challenge as there were a few possible scenarios to pick from.
With Sebastian Vettel at unbackable odds to claim pole and win the race, those who took the sensible root did nicely, while a few brave souls predicted outcomes such as pole position for Mark Webber, Lewis Hamilton or Nico Rosberg. Other braver entrants predicted race wins for Michael Schumacher (that would be me!) and Vitaly Petrov!
Newly-joined tipster paskina took the biggest points haul with eight correct predictions, missing out on a bonus five points with just one incorrect prediction – so close!
Tipster and Richard’s F1’s IndyCar correspondent Matt Lennon correctly guessed the top-five finishers, but a wager on back-to-back wins for Hamilton didn’t eventuate…
Prizes are still on offer for the first tipster to collect a clean sweep of results!
The result sees joseph.sheu, and Julian::MUFC – last year’s Tipping Competition frontrunners – at the top of the table on 28 points apiece. Just four points cover the top ten-ranked tipsters.
