Our friends at Allen Berg Racing Schools are pleased to announce that its world-class Formula Race School will make its maiden appearance at the Fontana Auto Club Speedway road course in mid-November, and if you’re in the USA, this is a dynamite opportunity to experience racing schools at their finest.
With over 32 years of racing experience, former Formula 1 driver Allen Berg offers an authentic racing environment to every participant. ABRS is the only school in North America that has a former Formula One driver as an active chief instructor. Unique in the racing school industry, ABRS is the only racing school utilising race cars currently used in international competition, including Tatuus Formula Renault 1600. Not only will participants feel like real race car drivers, they will be driving like one!
Additionally, ABRS is the only racing school to employ Formula One style MoTeC data acquisition technology on all of its race cars – the same data systems as used by teams in the IndyCar Series ALMS and the legendary Indianapolis 500. During one-, two- and three-day Formula car programs, all data is recorded and used to monitor and critique driver’s performance, providing a comparison to experienced racers under the same conditions. Complimentary on board video camera footage through Contour digital cameras will be provided to students. All programs include driving equipment, classroom instruction and of course laps in a race car.
ABRS will run its programs on 14-15 November, with an additional 2011 date being 8 December.
