A double World Champion and a fashion model!
Red Bull sponsor Pepe Jeans London have revealed photos from the latest fashion campaign shot with Formula 1’s newly crowned double World Champion Sebastian Vettel, whose Red Bull Racing team is sponsored by the London-based fashion label.
The company has confirmed that its logos will assume a greater presence on the team’s Renault-powered RB7 challenger at the upcoming Indian Grand Prix, with the retailer confirming that it will display its logos on the car’s sidepods, as well as the drivers’ helmets and race suits.
The deal comes about courtesy of greater investment from the company’s Indian operation.
“This is a very exciting time for us at Pepe Jeans. Our association with Red Bull partnership is to widen and support our International awareness and appeal, specifically targeting the young and the fashion conscious that perceive and acknowledge the intrinsic synergy between universal fashion appreciation and the ethos and excitement of the Formula 1 world,” said Chetan Shah, Pepe Jeans London’s Managing Director (India).
Modelling the design group’s latest ‘73 Collection’ od denim, Vettel shot this campaign entirely on location in and around Monaco, Formula One’s most celebrated and prestigious race venue. This retro-tinged shoot combines to create a storyboard that pays homage to the sensational days of Formula 1 in the 1970s. The shots show three instantly recognisable Monaco race backdrops, set around the Red Bull Energy Station, the paddocks and the spectacular harbour-moored Monaco yachts.
