» One F1 test to go: Who’s driving?

In a little over two weeks’ time, the F1 circus will have travelled the many thousands of miles ‘Down Under’ for the 2012 championship season to kick off in earnest. But before that, there’s the matter of the third and final pre-season test at Barcelona’s Circuit de Catalunya, which kicks off today and runs until Sunday.

The test will mark the final opportunity to finalise development parts and test new concepts before the teams pack up and head to Melbourne.

For the likes of Red Bull and McLaren, their pre-season run has gone smoothly and they have every reason to be confident. But for others, like Ferrari and Lotus, their pre-season run has seen questionable pace and reliability, respectively, and they’ll desperately be hoping for a turnaround in form here.
