The stars of Nitro Circus Live previewed their high flying, freestyle motocross stunts today ahead of their thrilling line up of shows at the 2013 Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix.
In an Australian first, Blake ‘Bilko’ Williams, Jarryd McNiel, Steve Mini and Matty McFarren performed a series of daring back-flips and trick trains along the main straight of the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit.
Nitro Circus Live will be performing free daily shows for all ticket holders at the Australian Grand Prix next month, culminating in an action packed one-hour post-race performance on Sunday 17 March.
Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Grand Prix Corporation, Andrew Westacott, said he is thrilled to welcome Nitro Circus Live to Melbourne for a series of spectacular performances.
“Nitro Circus Live will deliver four days of adrenaline-charged action to an already packed schedule for fans of all ages,” he said.
“Their inclusion in our world class event is a real coup for our fans and continues to ensure that they are getting fantastic value for money.”
Nitro Circus Live are famous for their spectacular live-action brand of sports entertainment and their demonstrations incorporate extreme stunts in Freestyle Motocross (FMX), BMX, skateboarding and more.
Founded by motorsport legend Travis Pastrana, winner of 17 X-Games medals, Nitro Circus Live has captured the imagination of fans across the globe and is in the Top 10 touring acts of all time in Australia.
