Tony D’Alberto Racing has become one of the last teams to unveil the livery scheme it will run for the 2013 V8 Supercars Championship season, which kicks off with the Adelaide Clipsal 500 this weekend.
Having reverted to Holden power during the off-season – as part of a technical collaboration with Walkinshaw Performance – the #3 entry that will be driven by Tony D’Alberto features a new Holden-esque red and white livery scheme on the new ‘Car of the Future’ Commodore VF.
The team is hoping that the changes during the off-season will help D’Alberto – a former V8 Development Series champion – compete more regularly at the front of the field.
“Over the break, we’ve quietly been working hard to improve every aspect of our business, and as we get onto the track, I think that will become evident,” team owner Al D’Alberto said.
