Mike Conway and Pippa Mann will have more IndyCar Series outings this year with the Dale Coyne Racing team.
Street circuit ace Conway – who scored an amazing race win on his first appearance for the team at Detroit – will drive at this weekend’s double-header at Toronto, and will follow this up with another outing at the season’s final two-race weekend at Houston in October.
Conway will reunite with fellow Brit Justin Wilson at both street circuit events, taking over the #18 entry that has also been driven by Ana Beatriz and Pippa Mann.
“I am very happy to be back in an IndyCar and with Dale Coyne Racing,” Conway said.
“Hopefully we will pick up from where we left off in Detroit. Toronto is one of my favourite circuits so there is no reason why we can’t do well there.
“Houston will be new to a lot of people, however Dale Coyne and Justin raced there in ChampCar so I am hoping to get some good feedback from them. They should both be really good weekends and I want to thank Dale for giving me another chance to be a part of it.”
Mann, meanwhile, will have a fourth outing with the team at the season-ending oval race at Fontana, having claimed a season’s best finish of fifteenth last time out at Pocono.
“It’s a great feeling to have a team owner working with you as hard as Dale has been, to try and help me keep getting back into one of his race cars, and I can’t wait to drive Fontana for the first time this fall,” she said.
