Venezuelan GP Lazarus has confirmed that Conor Daly will join the team full time for the 2014 GP2 season.
Having participated in pre-season testing for the outfit and displaying an impressive debut for the team in Bahrain, Daly will complete his first full season in GP2.
“This has been a long winter of uncertainty for me, but I am committed on my path to Formula One. GP2 is where I want to be right now, and the Lazarus team really has a great group of people,” he said.
Daly, who was born in 1991 in the United States, has raced in both Indy Lights and the GP3 series where he placed third in the Championship in 2013 with six podiums and a win.
“We have learned a lot so far this season and have more work to do, but I will give everything to the team to help achieve a great result.”
The GP2 series continues this weekend in Spain.
