Ferrari has unveiled its latest Formula 1 car the SF15-T, a car that Ferrari hope will get them back on the winners list after a disappointing 2014 campaign.

After a major management overhaul due to the performance of last year’s car, the team are confident the changes made will rectify the mistakes of 2014.

One of Ferrari’s biggest weaknesses with last year’s car, the F14 T, was the lack of power produced from the power unit. The team are confident with the extensive changes made to this year’s power unit they will close the gap to the Mercedes benchmark.

New team principal Maurizio Arrivabene says that the goal for this year is to end Ferrari’s victory drought, which dates back to the 2013 Spanish Grand Prix.

“I am just realistic,” he said. “Nobody has the magic to change things, when things are unchangeable.

“I don’t want to say that we are going to win the world championship but for sure we are committed at least to win two races,” he told Autosport.

The SF15-T will get its first run this Sunday in the first pre-season test in Jerez.
