A bevy of Formula 1 drivers, international celebrities and Monaco Grand Prix VIPs flocked to the Amber Lounge Monaco Fashion Show on Friday night to celebrate the most prestigious event on the 2017 calendar, the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix.
In the esteemed presence of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II, the event welcomed a host of international celebrities, many of whom came to the Principality from the neighbouring Cannes Film Festival.
They included American actress Pamela Anderson, model and actress Kate Upton, Lindsay Lohan, Game of Thrones star Liam Cunningham, F1 driver Eddie Irvine, to name a few.
As has become customary at the end, a number of this year’s Formula 1 drivers swapped their race suits for more formal attire, donning outfits designed by the Apsley of London and Michael Kors fashion labels.
McLaren’s Stoffel Vandoorne, Toro Rosso’s Daniil Kvyat, Force India’s Esteban Ocon, Sauber duo Pascal Wehrlein and Marcus Ericsson, Formula 2 Championship leader Charles Leclerc and former Grand Prix driver Marc Gené were all on hand to serve as models.
They were joined by a number of the sport’s high-profile ladies and spouses, including SKY Sports presenters Federica Masolin, Mara Sangorgio and Natalie Pinkham, Canal Latam‘s Giselle Zarur and Claudia Casedemunt, Adrian Newey’s partner Amanda Smerczak, Eric Boullier’s wife Tamara and Pedro de la Rosa’s wife Maria.
Guests also contributed over €450,000 through a live charity auction for the Amber Lounge’s chosen charity, Race Against Dementia.
