MotorsportM8 is delighted to announce that Luke McCullough has joined its team of journalists.
Hailing from the city of Geelong, southwest of Melbourne, Luke has a huge passion for Formula 1 and his goal is to pursue a full-time career in motorsport journalism. He was accepted into Deakin University to study sports journalism.
Luke will principally support the website’s Formula 1 coverage, working alongside established journalists and writers on the team.
“I am really proud to be joining the MotorsportM8 team for this season and beyond,” he said.
“I look forward to writing comprehensive motorsport news as we weave through the year of 2018. I am on an adventure this year travelling to Canada, France, Austria and England to attend Formula 1 Grands Prix. Of course, I’ll be making my annual visit to Melbourne for the season opener in late March. Let’s get this show on the road!”
Richard Bailey, MotorsportM8‘s co-founder and Chief Editor added: “Luke’s passion and career goals align completely to our philosophy of identifying and nurturing the next generation of professional motorsport writers.
“As an organization, we have already been a vehicle for the likes of Yassmin Abdel-Magied (TV media) and Josh Kruse (Scuderia Toro Rosso media team) to pursue broader media careers.
“Luke already shows excellent skills as a story and news writer, and we know he will be a great addition to the MotorsportM8 family.”
