McLaren is the fourth team to announce their 2019 reveal date marking February 14 the day they take the covers of the MCL34.

The team hinted towards a Valentine’s Day theme on their social media platforms including a photo of two papaya orange crash helmets inside a heart-shape.


Serious eyes will be on McLaren as they look to rebuild from their dismal performance slump endured over the past four seasons as they move on without Fernando Alonso at the helm. McLaren Racing CEO, Zak Brown has already alluded to Alonso possibly testing the 2019 car sometime this year, however, the team will be working hard to help familiarise their two new fresh-faced drivers in Carlos Sainz and 19-year old Lando Norris.

McLaren’s launch date is four days before the first test at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona. So far they will be the third team to reveal their car slotting in after Racing Point F1 Team and before Scuderia Ferrari.
