Williams Racing has revealed dramatic changes to their 2019 livery approaching the season with a new colour scheme and title sponsor.
In what is so far the biggest surprise of the first three car launches, just before the FW42 reveal, the Grove-based team announced a new partnership with ROKiT – an emerging British-based affordable mobile phone company.

“We are delighted to welcome ROKiT to our team as our title partner for the 2019 season and beyond,” commented Deputy Team Principal – Claire Williams.
“We share many similar values and aspirations with ROKiT; primarily putting engineering and innovation at the core of everything we do in our pursuit to be the best – the perfect platform from which to start a partnership.
“ROKiT is on an exciting journey in their world of telecommunications, as we are at Williams as we build the team for a successful future.
“Taking that path together will make us both stronger in our endeavours and so I can’t wait to get started.”

The team sports a new lineup for 2019 as they battle their way back into the midfield featuring racing veteran Robert Kubica – on his Formula 1 return from a freak rally accident in 2011 – and reigning Formula 2 champion George Russell.
Williams is not expected to organise an optional 100km demonstration run before the first pre-season test next week in Barcelona.
